KC Jam
KC Jam is the concept for an app meant to help elementary school kids in the KCMO area gain a better understanding of jazz. As a Kansas City Native, I never knew KC was a jazz central until entering high school and becoming more familiar with the 18th and Vine district. My goal was to create an app that was vibrant and engaging to help young kids learn a little history about their city.

This was my first time using Flinto and though it was challenging, I never back down when it comes to learning a new program or skill. It took me about a week to feel comfortable using this new program. All illustrations were created on Illustrator and imported into Flinto. The style of the app and was inspired by the patterning and shapes included in my moodboards.
